Game Processing Policy

We suggest to fully understand our policies & requirements to use our services, our visitors should refer to this written policy.
Our meat processing shop offers the state of the art processing equipment by Hobart. We are set up to process any wild game or domestic livestock, from skinning to the final stages of packaging your meat.   We are state inspected, licensed & approved.

1)Customer is responsible to pick-up completed processed meat within 5 days of notification call. If not picked up after the 5 days and other arrangements have not been made customers processed meat will be donated local food pantry.

2) ONLY animals that have died as a result of legally slaughter or farm slaughtered animals are allowed to be processed with the exception of white tail deer that have been lawfully harvested. Deer carcasses shall be examined by the meat processor immediately upon submission of the carcass for processing. The processor reserve the right to reject any carcass when evidence of mishandling or spoilage is observed or suspected which would result in potable unwholesomeness of the meat. No deer carcass shall be accepted if harvested from a quarantined area as designated by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency or other appropriate state agency.

ROAD KILL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, unless it complies with procedures & pursuant to handling of such road kill and comply with TCA70-4-114 or has been approved by a state or local game warden

Important Notice: A $10 fee maybe applied for deer brought in that have already been skinned and were not properly handled.  Because the Deer may need cleaning & sanitizing before processing if miss handled, as to be determined by the processer on duty. This is to prevent cross contamination in our processing facility. A food safety concern we do not take lightly.

3) No deer shall be processed with out proper game tag. No exceptiones!

4) We are a privately owned company located in the United States & reserve the right to refuse service(s) to anyone, at anytime for any reason.

Packaging use.
We use air-lock white freezer paper as our standard packaging, unless other arrangements have been made prior to the meat being brought in to be processed to our facility.
We do offer vacuum sealing for an additional fee.

Sorry, we do not offer vacuum sealing for domestic animal processing at this time.


There is a deposit of 40% on all Taxidermy work. Turnaround time is usually 6 to 18 months depending on work load. Courtesy calls will be made to customers for updates on their trophy.
After notification of availability for trophy pick-up there will be a grace period of 3 weeks. After 3 weeks there will be a $1.00 per day storage fee for 2 weeks. If not picked up at this time and, or other arrangements have not been made The customers trophy will then become property of Real Life Taxidermy and Game Processing, LLC.

Your taxidermist has no control over any trophy prior to them receiving it for mounting or tanning. Many factors may affect the results. Such as condition of skin, time of year and the care given to hide for mounting or tanning process due to improper handling or some defect in the skin for which your taxidermist can not be held responsible. Hides should be properly cared for from the beginning. Real Life Taxidermy and Game Processing, LLC has a cooler available and we are on call 24 hours,

Our Privacy Policy

Disclosure of Personal Information:
     Any information you provide to us at this site when you establish or update an account, sign up for event, pay for services or request information (i.e. name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit card information), is maintained in private files on our secure web server and our internal systems. No access to customers personal information is granted to third parties. With the exception of the customers request in writing to us , to share their information to another party of their choice.

 We do access credit card information through Paypal.com . for money(S) that has been approved by the customer for services rendered by us for them.  A receipt will be given to you the customer in return when a payment has been made with your credit card to us for our services that have been paid.

Your Emails;   We Do Not sell, rent or trade your e-mail address to third parties. Ever!
